Starting high school with confidence
At Kingscliff High School, every student is supported from day one. Our leaders meet with students before they start and learn about their interests and connect them with the right subjects. Students quickly feel at home with dedicated areas for junior years and a focus on belonging and having a voice.
Real pathways, close to home
We help students prepare for their future careers with hands-on courses. Next to TAFE NSW, students can complete job-focused courses while finishing their HSC. We offer programs like STEM, Marine Studies, Creative Arts, and many more. In 2024, 95% of students graduated with a clear plan for university, training, or work.
A home for serious athletes
Sport is a big part of life at Kingscliff High School. We offer twelve Sports Excellence Programs during school hours, led by expert coaches. Our students often achieve State level selections and strong competition results. With an on-site gym, athletics track and integrated training, students can balance sport and study easily.
"My three children have all thrived at Kingscliff High School, each having very different experiences but similar positive outcomes. This, to me, is the strength of the school, it welcomes uniqueness, authenticity, and individuality. The school creates a culture where each child can find their own path socially, academically and personally. At Kingscliff High School, we believe in achievement through endeavour and celebrate individual growth through real-world, respectful, and passionate learning on Bundjalung land. Every student is known, valued, and supported to reach their potential.
We welcome students from our partner primary schools Kingscliff PS, Bogangar PS, Cudgen PS, Duranbah PS, Fingal Head PS, and Pottsville Beach PS and all other schools too.

E-Bike Safety Program
We are pleased to advise that we have now partnered with E Bike Safety Australia, enhancing our e-bike safety program with additional safety education and resources.
"I am particularly encouraged by the strong relationships my children have built at Kingscliff High School. The doors always seem to be open for anyone needing support. For example, Scarlett took the initiative to form working relationships with her senior teachers to help her achieve her goals. The children also show a strong passion for sports and movement. Charlie has turned that passion into a learning opportunity by completing a Certificate III in Fitness at TAFE as part of his high school studies. This experience has introduced him to adult learning and equipped him with skills for the workforce. Most of all, I love how students are treated as young adults, encouraged to be independent and take charge of their growth both as students and as individuals."
