Kingscliff High School offers a range of junior HSIE subjects throughout the year.
Each year group will participate in both History and Geography courses, this is compulsory from year 7 – 10..
The History course delves into the Medieval world before focusing on Australia. The Geography course investigates the world and its environments amongst other things.
Student's get a taste of Commerce in year 8 but have the option to choose it as an elective for years 9 and 10.. Some examples of topics that they focus on are Tourism, the Law and Employment.
International Studies is also an elective course and focuses on learning different cultures, the students enjoy learning about these many varied cultures, in particular enjoying the cuisine from these various places.
