Does the school have a program for parents who can not afford the cost of an iPad?

Yes! The school has a few programs for ensuring that every student has an iPad.

First, we have a year loan with a $150 refundable deposit that covers damage to the device. This iPad remains the property of the school.

Secondly, our purchasing partner JB Hi-Fi has set up a purchasing portal for us which has multiple payment plan options including 12 months interest-free using services like humm90, Afterpay, or Zip Pay

Or, if neither of these options is applicable, please feel free to contact the school and we can try our best to cater to any situation.

Do we need an iPad with Cellular?

No, Cellular iPads are not allowed at the school, if a student has a cellular iPad they must remove the sim card from the iPad during school hours. Internet is provided by the school's 5Ghz secured wireless network. Also, any student who connects or ‘tethers' their device to their mobile phone in order to gain access to the internet will be breaching the student user agreement. The school's internet is filtered and monitored and blocks unacceptable or banned internet sites including some social media sites such as Facebook. This filtering is only applied when the student is at school.
