E-Bike Safety Program at Kingscliff High School
We are pleased to advise that we have now partnered with E Bike Safety Australia, enhancing our e-bike safety program with additional safety education and resources.

The following information is intended for families of students who use an E-bike for travel to and from school
To obtain a KHS Rider ID tag, students must complete the following steps:

Parent/Carer consent and payment
Parent/Carer consent must be provided via SchoolBytes. The cost is $25. -
Collect online course access code
Once payment has been made, your child can collect their unique course access code from the School Management Office, for access to the online course. -
Complete the online course:
Your child must:- Successfully complete the online e-bike safety course.
- Show their completion certificate to the School Management Office.
- They will then be provided with a Student Rider Agreement to read and sign.

Receive the KHS Rider ID tag
Once the above requirements have been completed, your child will receive their KHS Rider ID tag. -
Display the tag at school
The KHS Rider ID tag must be securely attached to the e-bike and be clearly visible whenever the e-bike is parked on school grounds.
Please note: The KHS Rider ID tag is for identification purposes within the school only. It is not a form of registration and does not confirm that an e-bike complies with NSW road rules or safety requirements.
Parent/Carer Responsibilities
Parents and Carers are responsible for ensuring their child’s e-bike complies with all applicable NSW road rules and safety requirements.
Kingscliff High School does not inspect or certify e-bike compliance.
