YEAR 7 – TRANSITION INTO HIGH SCHOOL
To enable smooth transition into high school, the Head Teacher-Admin works closely with the Year 7 Adviser and the following information relates to Year 7:
Open Night/Parent Information Night - Thursday 27 March 2025 from 5:30pm
Includes welcoming our new Year 7 2025 families as well as providing information for all prospective parents Year 7 2026 and beyond.
All families are invited and welcome to attend the Kingscliff High School Open Night/Information night.
Information will be provided for anyone considering enrolment into our school - Q&A sessions, Meet the Year Advisers, Meet the Principal and Deputy Principals.
You will hear information about the High Potential and Gifted Education through our school's Pinnacle Program; Sports Excellence program, STEM program and much more!
Parent Teacher Night - Tuesday 8 April 2025
There will be an opportunity at the end of Term 1 for parents/carers of current Year 7 2025 to attend the Parent Teacher night.
Year 6 Orientation Day for Year 7 2026 - Tuesday 2 December 2025
Year 6 2025 students are invited to attend Kingscliff High School in Term 4, on Tuesday 2 December 2025 for the Orientation Day for Year 7 2026. Students will meet their Year Adviser, Principal, Deputy Principal and Teachers and rotate through a series of fun activities.
Year 7 ‘K-Day' Orientation Program - Term 1
The first two days of Term 1 for Year 7, students will participate in a program designed to familiarise them with all aspects of the high school setting.
