Term 3, 2024 - Week 5 – Friday 23 August 2024
Stage 6 Subject Selection Expo Day for all Year 10 2024 students
Students will meet with subject specialists to learn more about the courses we are offering, leading to the HSC in 2026, and which would be most suitable for them
Term 3, 2024 - Week 6 – Monday 26 August 2024
Stage 6 Subject Selection opens online
Subject selections are completed online using Edval choice from Monday 26 August 2024.
The process for subject selections is as follows:
- An email will be sent to all Year 10 2024 students at the start of Week 6, Term 3.
- Students log in to their student portal:
https://portal.education.nsw.gov.au
- Click on the "My E-mail" button
- Find an E-mail from Kingscliff High School with "Yr11 Electives" as the subject
- Inside this e-mail there will be a link and a WebCode, click the link and then enter the WebCode to select subjects.
Term 3, 2024 - Week 6 – Tuesday 27 August 2024
Year 10 Parent Information Session at our school in the TLS at 6pm, held on the same date as the Parent Teacher Interview night. This information session will outline HSC requirements and how these inform subject selection for students.
Term 3, 2024 - Week 7 – Friday 6 September 2024
Stage 6 Subject Selection closes
The deadline for students to submit their choices is Friday 6 September 2024
Term 3 - Week 10 – 23-27 September 2024
- Subject Selection Interviews will be held in Week 10
- Students are issued with a print out of their selections to be taken home for parent/carer signatures after their interview
