STAGE 6 COURSE SELECTIONS

Stage 6 Course selections are completed online using Edval.

The information below applies to students entering Year 11 in 2025.

The Stage 6 Course Selection Guide 2026-2027 for students currently in Year 10 2025 will be available from the start of Term 3 in July 2025. 

 

 

Stage 6 Course Selection Guide 2025-2026

This Handbook contains descriptions of all courses available for selection by students entering Year 11 2025 at Kingscliff High School. Students and families are encouraged to read this handbook thoroughly before making final course selections.

 

KEY DATES AND EVENTS FOR YEAR 10 2025 STUDENTS

 

Term 3 2025, Week 5 – Tuesday 19 August 2025

Pathways Day - Stage 6 information for Year 10 2025 students, covering:

o    HSC requirements

o    ATAR requirements

o    Kingscliff High School expectations

 

Term 3 2025, Week 5 – Friday 22 August 2025

Stage 6 Subject Selection Expo Day for all Year 10 2025 students

Year 10 students will meet with subject specialists to learn more about the courses we are offering, leading to the HSC in 2026, and determine which would be most suitable for them.

 

Term 3 2025, Week 6 – Monday 25 August 2025

Stage 6 Subject Selection opens online

Subject selections are completed online using Edval..

The process for Subject Selections is as follows:

  • An email will be sent to all Year 10 2025 students at the start of Week 6, Term 3. 
  • Students are to log in to their student portal:

https://portal.education.nsw.gov.au

  • Click on the "My E-mail" button
  • Find an email from Kingscliff High School with "Yr11 Electives" as the subject
  • Inside this email there will be a link and a WebCode, click the link and then enter the WebCode to select subjects.

 

Term 3 2025, Week 6 – Tuesday 26 August 2025

Year 10 Parent Information Session at our school in the TLS at 6pm 

Join us at 6pm in the TLS, which is held on the same date as the Parent Teacher Interview night.  This information session will outline HSC requirements and their impact on subject selection. 

 

Term 3 2025, Week 7 – Friday 5 September 2025

Stage 6 Subject Selection closes

The deadline for students to submit their course choices is Friday 5 September 2025

 

Term 3 - Week 10 – 22-26 September 2025

  • Subject Selection Interviews for Year 10 2025 students will be held in Week 10
  • Students are issued with a print-out of their selections to be taken home for parent/carer signatures after their interview
