Student Use of Mobile Phones Policy
The NSW Department of Education has a Student use of mobile phone policy in schools, students are not allowed to use mobile phones at NSW public schools, including during recess and lunch. Updates were introduced to the Digital Devices and Online Services for Students Policy which focuses on safe, responsible and respectful use of devices and services.
Kingscliff High School's mobile phone policy is referred to as the "Off and Away" Mobile Phone Policy. This means:
- All mobile phones must be switched OFF and kept AWAY (out of sight) during classroom lessons, transition times between classes, and breaks.
Kingscliff High School is a mobile-free environment designed to foster improved learning and engagement.
